Lahore: Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Mother and Child Hospitals will be established in Dera Ghazi Khan and Murree.
A meeting was chaired by Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb. In which the performance of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education for the past 6 months was reviewed. While the strategy for completing the stalled projects of the previous periods was also reviewed.
In the meeting, it was decided to establish a Pediatric Burn Center at Lahore Children’s Hospital. Marriyum Aurangzeb directed to complete all the schemes on time.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the pace of work on the schemes should be accelerated. The Chief Minister of Punjab is committed to the establishment of a medical center. And the establishment of teaching hospitals is the need of the hour. The work related to the establishment of teaching hospitals will be started soon.
She said that Mother and Child Hospitals will be established in Dera Ghazi Khan and Murree. And the healthcare system in Punjab will be modernized.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the reasons and difficulties for delays in development projects were reviewed. And the meeting also considered the formation of an internal policy and monitoring unit.
