Islamabad: The Supreme Court has given time to the petitioner’s lawyer in the bail cancellation case of the accused involved in the May 9 incidents to prepare.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi held a brief hearing on the appeals for cancellation of bail of the accused involved in the May 9 incidents. The bench also includes Justice Musarat Hilali and Justice Gul Hassan Aurangzeb.
Advocate Zulfiqar Naqvi appeared in the court on behalf of the Punjab prosecution.
The Supreme Court gave time to the petitioner’s lawyer to prepare and adjourned the hearing of the case until after Eid.
Yesterday, the court had combined all the May 9 cases and adjourned them until after Eid.
