Islamabad: District and Sessions Courts Islamabad issued notices to the parties in the Duran-Iddat Nikah case.
During the hearing, the court remarked that Khawar Manika and his lawyer should appear before the court on June 21, otherwise a decision will be taken after looking at the records.
District and Sessions Courts Islamabad held a hearing on applications for early hearing of appeals against sentence and suspension of sentence. Additional and Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka conducted the hearing, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Usman Riaz Gul advocate appeared in the court.
Usman Riaz Gul Advocate presented the written decision of the Islamabad High Court in the court. He said that the direction has arrived, keep it for tomorrow.
Judge Afzal Majoka remarked that if I am alive, I will give a decision in ten days, tomorrow is not possible because there are many bail applications, even if the other party does not appear, I will give a decision.
Usman Riaz Gul Advocate said that the hearing should be reserved for tomorrow then the notices will become a part of the record. Judge Afzal Majoka remarked that writing the order for today’s hearing would be more than a notice.
After arguments, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 21.
