Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that many of today’s opponents have supported the Federal Constitutional Court in the past.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in a Twitter message that the Pakistan People’s Party has participated in every election since 2007 with a manifesto of implementing judicial reforms, including the establishment of federal constitutional courts.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Federal Constitutional Court is mentioned in the 2006 Charter of Democracy, PPP’s 2013 and 2024 election manifesto, many of today’s opponents have supported the Federal Constitutional Court in the past.
He said that the current opposition to the Constitutional Court is on the basis of personal likes and dislikes or the current political situation. Our party’s position regarding the Constitutional Court has been the same for almost two decades.
Chairman PP further said that the representatives elected in every election under my leadership were given a mandate by the people to establish a federal constitutional court, in which all are equally represented.
