Mumbai: Renowned actress Manisha Koirala has exposed Bollywood’s double standards for female artists.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed that in the nineties, actors were not allowed to consume alcohol nor could they ‘date’ anyone.
Manisha Koirala said that during the shooting of the film ‘Sudagar’, she used to mix vodka in a coke bottle and was told that alcohol was not allowed for actresses.
He further said that male actors used to have multiple girlfriends but it was important for female artists not to reveal their relationship with anyone.
It should be noted that Manisha Koirala started her career with Subhash Gayi’s ‘Sudagar’ and recently she made her OTT debut with Netflix’s ‘Hira Mundi’.
