Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar’s statement on the comments made by the wife of the founder of PTI regarding Saudi Arabia has come to light.
Responding to questions from journalists, Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are long-standing friends and brothers, relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect, Pakistan is very appreciative of Saudi Arabia’s journey of development and prosperity.
Ishaq Dar said that the Pakistani people are proud of their close relations with Saudi Arabia because Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan in every difficult time.
He said that making malicious accusations against Saudi Arabia regarding Pakistan’s internal affairs for the purpose of polishing their politics and scoring points is regrettable and reflects a disappointing mindset.
Ishaq Dar said that all political forces should refrain from compromising Pakistan’s foreign policy to achieve their petty political objectives.
