Pakistani actress Mahira Khan got emotional as she recalled her wedding moments.
She recalled the special moment she spent with her son Azlan on her wedding day and said that she wanted her son to walk her on her “special day”.
Mahira Khan tied the knot with her close friend and businessman Saleem Karim in a short ceremony in October last year.
During an interview, speaking to BBC Asia Network, Mahira Khan said: “I was proud of my child. I wanted him to walk me, and he did.”
During the interview, Mahira Khan also spoke about the concept of women remarrying in South Asia. She said, “It was as if Allah had combined every good deed in my life to reward me for this moment. I was constantly saying Alhamdulillah and was very proud of my son.”
Mahira Khan, known for popular dramas and films like Hum Safar and Raees, said that she got this moment as a gift from Allah.
