CALIFORNIA: A nighttime curfew has been imposed in areas affected by the worst fire in history in Los Angeles, and the National Guard has been deployed.
Los Angeles Police have warned that those who violate the curfew will be arrested.
In some areas, locals have also started patrolling the streets to protect their homes.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway to control the worst forest fire in history that broke out in the city of Los Angeles, California, since Tuesday.
More than 12,000 buildings have been destroyed by the fire and more than 200,000 people have had to evacuate.
11 people have died and dozens have been injured in the fire, while the death toll is expected to rise.
12,000 firefighters, 1,100 fire engines, 60 aircraft and 143 water tankers are busy extinguishing the fire in Los Angeles. Initial damage estimates have reached $150 billion.
The fire has destroyed more than 37,000 acres and strong winds could cause it to spread further.
The fire also affects popular areas of Hollywood, including Pacific Palisades, where many celebrities have left their homes and moved to other areas.
