Islamabad High Court Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani has remarked during the hearing of a case that living in Pakistan is a constant battle. There are 240 million to 250 million people, there are more fighters and fewer survivors. The judiciary, parliament, and executive have all collapsed.
A petition was heard in the Islamabad High Court to stop the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) from conducting new exams before releasing the CSS 2024 results. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the case.
FPSC Chairman Lieutenant General (retd) Akhtar Nawaz Satti appeared before the court.
Petitioner Hamza Javed and others appeared in the court along with their lawyer Ali Raza Advocate. A large number of students who participated in the CSS 2024 exams were present in the courtroom.
The court inquired when did you become the chairman? Lieutenant General (Retd) Akhtar Nawaz Satti replied that he took charge on October 9, 2024. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired that the matter was sent to you so that you can look at it from your angle. There are 3761 candidates who had also participated in the 2024 exams and are now also in the 2025 exams.
The Chairman FPSC said that give me 5 minutes. I want to put the position of FPSC before you. The court sent the petitioners to the FPSC. We rejected the petitioner’s request because the petitioners will not run out of chances even after the 2025 exams. One petitioner has already exhausted all the chances, so he is not affected.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani asked whether you have ever given any results that were given after the next exam.
The FPSC Chairman replied that no, it has never been done before. The 3,761 candidates awaiting the results of the 2024 exams, who are also going to take the current exams, are mostly repeaters. 88 halls have been booked across the country and all the relevant papers have also been sent.
