In view of the law and order situation, the Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department, a complete ban has been imposed on carrying weapons and gatherings of more than 5 people.
The notification states that during the implementation of Section 144, all kinds of illegal gatherings and use of weapons will be strictly enforced.
It should be noted that the sit-in and protest for the recovery of missing student Muhammad Musawar at Serena Chowk in Quetta have been going on for the past 9 days.
In addition, on November 25, all parties have also announced a roadblock strike across Balochistan.
It should be remembered that the Punjab government had also imposed Section 144 across the province for 3 days yesterday, which will be applicable from November 23 to November 25.
The Punjab Home Department had issued a notification regarding Section 144, under which all kinds of protests, meetings, processions, rallies, sit-ins and public gatherings, including all other political activities, were banned in the province for 3 days.
The notification stated that the decision to impose Section 144 has been taken to maintain law and order and protect human lives and property.
