The Lahore Anti-Corruption Court acquitted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case.
The Lahore Anti-Corruption Court has reserved its verdict on the acquittal applications of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case.
Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz were accused of using the national treasury to build drains for personal sugar mills. NAB had started an investigation against Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz in 2018.
After the NAB amendments, the case was transferred from the Accountability Court to the Anti-Corruption Court in 2024.
