On June 28, the federal government had put the name of Tehreek-e-Insaf President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in the passport control list, which he challenged and made others, including the federal government, a party.
It was argued in the petition that the federal government illegally added the names of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Zahra Elahi to the PCL, the name of Parvez Elahi was added to the ECL to pay Umrah.
In the application, the court was requested to order the removal of Pervez Elahi’s name from the passport control list, the application was opposed by the federal government.
On the other hand, in the case of illegal recruitment in the Punjab Assembly, former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi did not appear in the court even today.
It was stated in the petition that Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been confined in hawalat for a long time, he has become weak and emaciated due to old age, it is difficult for him to walk, the physician has advised bed rest, the petition said. It was requested that the court approve the request of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for one day’s attendance exemption.
