Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has alleged that the government wants to sabotage the talks even before they start.
Senior PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai reacted strongly to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement made yesterday, saying that his statements are aimed at sabotaging the talks.
He said that Khawaja Asif should not forget that the product of the establishment is not Imran Khan, but Nawaz Sharif. General Jilani had brought Nawaz Sharif into politics by holding his finger and General Zia’s era was his political nursery.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that PTI has won the elections not in the presence of Trump but in the presence of Joe Biden and Sikandar Sultan Raja, PTI has the public mandate.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that Khawaja Asif’s statement that 190 million pounds are in Malik Riaz’s account is a blatant lie, how can a person who tells such a big lie be the Defense Minister, from 2018 to 2023 the government has collected interest on the same amount from the Supreme Court’s account.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that Imran Khan is the leader who is talking about his workers. He has not asked for any NRO for himself till date, he wants innocent workers to remain.
He said that on the one hand the government is also holding talks, but on the other hand he is also afraid that if the talks are successful, the space for the (P) League will end.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that the civil disobedience movement is still ongoing, today’s talks with the government will show whether the government is serious about the talks or not, after which our leadership will meet Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.
He said that Imran Khan will decide today whether the civil disobedience movement is postponed, ended or continued, and it all depends on the seriousness of the government.
He said that if the government wants to make the negotiations successful, it should stop its ministers from making irrelevant statements.
