Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif says that there are rumors of canceling the election regarding the judiciary.
Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said in an interview that there is weight in the talk of ending the government in 18 months as stated in the Fitch report. Talks are being heard about the cancellation of the election regarding the judiciary. If something like this happens, we will take all possible measures for defense.
Khawaja Asif further said that we will defend every inch of the space we got as a result of the election and we will use whatever medicine we have in this regard. The report of the international organization Fitch said that the government will end in 18 months. There is weight in this. People are ready to join the technocrat government
The Defense Minister further said that there seems to be a constitutional meltdown. Sooner or later it will happen. Now nothing is happening under any rule, rather politics is embedded in all institutions and judiciary is at the top of it. At present, the most politically active constitutional institution is the judiciary. We have taken the back seat but we do not match the level of political activism in the Judiciary.
Khawaja Asif said that the ban on Tehreek-e-Insaf was announced ahead of time. Allies were not consulted. Consultation with them is essential. It will be decided by consensus.
