ISLAMABAD: On being expelled from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sher Afzal Marwat said that I was, am and will remain a soldier of Khan.
Sher Afzal Marwat wrote on social networking site X that I respect the party’s decision. Let me make one thing clear: Khan’s soldier was, is and will remain. I will do whatever I can to release the leader in my position.
He said that poison has been mixed in the ears of my leader against me. Misunderstandings have been created, I will try to meet the leader and present my position to him.
Sher Afzal Marwat said that I will try to satisfy the founder PTI. If they are not satisfied, the seat is their trust and I will return it at the same time.
He said that if any leader or worker within the party was offended by any of my actions, I sincerely apologize. I hope the party leaders will avoid rhetoric against me.
Sher Afzal Marwat wrote that I have no political ambitions, so this decision will not have a positive or negative impact on my future. I will regret that a unilateral decision was passed against me without a formal hearing.
It should be noted that PTI has issued a notification to expel Sher Afzal Marwat from the party and also demanded him to resign from the membership of the National Assembly.
