ISLAMABAD: Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control and around the world are observing Black Day today to send a message to the world to reject India’s illegal occupation of their land.

Protest marches, rallies and seminars should be held in all districts and tehsil headquarters to condemn the invasion of Azad Kashmir by the Indian Army on 27 October 1947 and the cancellation of the special status of Occupied Kashmir by the BJP-led Hindutva government. will
The Kashmir Liberation Commission has organized a protest in the state capital Muzaffarabad, after which a rally will be held.
Similarly, Pasban Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmiri refugees, other Hurriyat organizations and political and religious parties have organized anti-India rallies and seminars to celebrate Black Day.
President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq have appealed to Kashmiris around the world to register their protest against India.
It should be noted that on October 27, 1947, Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir in open violation of the partition plan and occupied the region against the will of the Kashmiris.
