Popular Bollywood actor Karthik Aaryan has revealed that he refused to do commercials for pan masala brands, even though he was offered a huge amount of money for it.
In an industry where many stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan have faced criticism for promoting these products, Kartik Aaryan’s decision makes him unique.
In a recent interview, the actor said, “I got offers for Pan Masala commercials, but I flatly refused them. They offered a lot, but I never thought of doing it.”
Bhol Bhalyan 3 co-star Vidya Balan laughed at this, saying, “Karthik preferred to advertise a health-related product, rather than pan masala.” To which Karthik replied with a laugh, “Yes, safety first.”
Remember that in 2022, Akshay Kumar also apologized to the public for advertising a tobacco brand and announced that he would donate the money he earned to charity.
