Once again the situation became tense in Karam district, 11 people were killed and 6 were injured as a result of firing during a clash between two tribes.
Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud says that the incident of firing took place in Kunj Ali Zai, the injured have been shifted to the hospital. A team of police and security forces have reached the area, the shooting incident is being investigated.
Javedullah Mehsud has said that steps are being taken to make the roads safe in the district and bring the situation back to normal. On the other hand, former MNA and Jirga member Pir Haider Ali Shah says that the Jirga members are already there for the peace agreement between the tribes.
It should be noted that dozens of people have been killed and injured as a result of tribal clashes in Karam many times before.
