Karachi: Sit-ins are continuing at 13 locations in Karachi, while the sit-in participants are present on campus and traffic is flowing normally on several alternative routes in the morning, while several roads are closed.
According to the traffic police, the main sit-in has been held at Nhamshid Chowrangi, both roads in front of Abbas Town on Abu-ul-Hassan Isfani Road are closed due to the sit-in. A sit-in has also been held at North Nazimabad Five Star Chowrangi, while a sit-in is also being held in front of Samama Shopping Center on University Road and a protest is being held.
According to the traffic police, two roads in front of Shar-e-Faisal Kala Chapra are closed due to the sit-in, while a sit-in has also been held near Malir 15 Bridge, and both roads have been closed for traffic. A religious group has also staged a sit-in on Surjani Town Road, while a protest sit-in has also been held in front of Ancholi on Shahrah-e-Pakistan. In addition, traffic is also closed on all sides at Gulistan-e-Jauhar Kamran Chowrangi due to the sit-in.
According to the traffic police, both roads in the National Highway Township are closed due to the sit-in, while a sit-in has also been held at Nazimabad 1, a protest sit-in has also been held at Korangi 2-dashi, and a religious group has also staged a sit-in at Power House Chowrangi.
Traffic police say that traffic is being diverted through alternative routes at the sit-ins.
