Karachi: The first phase of the Safe City project was launched in the city. 25 cameras installed at 5 poles started working. So far 43 polls have been installed.
Director General Sindh Safe Cities Authority Asif Ijaz Shaikh has said that the first phase of the Safe City project has been launched with a live feed display at the Central Police Office (CPO) Command and Control Center adjacent to S4 Control Room. The process of installing cameras on the pool has started.
He said that 25 cameras installed on 5 poles have started working while 43 poles have been installed so far.
