Mumbai: Bollywood’s leading actress Kajol will soon be seen in action in her new film Maharani: Queen of Queens. The shooting of this film is in the final stages and will be completed by the end of October.
Directed by Telugu director Charan Tej Appalapathy, the film will feature Kajol as the powerful character Maya, who rises from the slums of Dharavi to become a powerful figure in Maharashtra.
A major part of the film has been shot in Hyderabad, where Kajol has shot some great action scenes. The scenes were filmed on a specially designed set, in which Kajol demonstrated her weaponry and hand-to-hand combat skills.
The action sequences of this film are directed by Peter Hein, who is known for famous films like “Pushpa” and “Dewara”.
German stunt coordinator Florian Hotz, who has worked on world-famous films like “Hunger Games” and “John Wick”, has also been roped in to make the film’s action scenes even more exciting.
The film is being dubbed in Hindi as well as Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, and is eagerly awaited for its release.
