ISLAMABAD: Justice Retired Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Retired Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will take oath as ad hoc judges of the Supreme Court tomorrow.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa will administer oath to both ad hoc judges. The swearing-in ceremony will be held in the Judges Block Committee Room.
Both the judges have been appointed as ad hoc judges of the Supreme Court for a period of one year. President Asif Ali Zardari approved the appointment.
It should be noted that the notification of appointment has also been issued by the Ministry of Law, Justice (retd) Mazhar Alam Mian Khel had previously resigned from becoming an ad hoc judge.
The Judicial Commission had recommended the appointment of Justice (retd) Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice (retd) Mazhar Alam Mian Khel as ad hoc judges for one year.
