Islamabad: Leader of the opposition Umar Ayub said in his address to the National Assembly that the constitutional amendment is a process of strangulation of the independent judiciary, including unknown persons.
He said that it does not represent the people, what would happen if the amendment was approved on October 31.
Umar Ayub said that pressure was put on Mubarak Zeib, Zahoor Qureshi, Aurangzeb Khachi, Riyaz Fatiana, Zain Qureshi, Adil Bazai. Adil Bazai’s plazas were demolished, Zain Qureshi’s wife was taken out of the car at night and kidnapped. At dawn, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq sent a message saying that she has returned.
