Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has reserved its judgment on the petition filed by the founder of PTI against not allowing party leaders to meet him on Thursday as per the schedule.
Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas heard the petition of the founder of PTI, in which Imran Khan’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry appeared in the court.
During the hearing, the lawyer argued that the Chief Justice and Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq have passed orders regarding the prison meeting. The Superintendent of Adiala Jail has also been given notice, and a response has been sought from him. There is also an order for the founder of PTI to meet Bushra Bibi. We had agreed with the Adiala Jail authorities that the family, lawyers and friends will meet on Tuesday and on Thursday.
Justice Inam Amin Minhas said that there is an order in the petition, and the Registrar’s Office also objects.
The lawyer said that there is an order of February 6 and all these orders are not being implemented. A petition has been filed with the Chief Sahib tomorrow, the Superintendent is to appear in the morning. Both the court decisions are attached with this petition, the rest of the orders are not related to them. The Superintendent’s own statement is also there, in light of which the order of November 8 is also there.
Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas said that let’s see, I will issue a formal order on this petition. After hearing the arguments, the court reserved the decision on the petition regarding the jail visit.
