LAHORE: Punjab Police and Interpol Islamabad conducted a joint operation and safely recovered 3 minors from Italy.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the children’s mother had registered a case of child abduction against her husband in Hafizabad police station and Vanike Tarar, while the children’s father, Zubair, had quarreled with his wife and forcibly took the three sons with him to Italy 06 years ago.
According to the spokesman, the children’s mother had filed a writ in the Lahore High Court for the safe return of the children.
After 6 years after returning from Italy, the children were taken into custody by the FIA at Lahore Airport and handed over to the police, Khaqan Bashir, Hussain Bashir and Ashal Bashir are among those who were recovered.
