Rawalpindi: The district administration ordered to provide full security and all necessary facilities to the participants of Jamaat-e-Islami sit-in.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner General has issued a formal notification directing the Municipal Corporation, WASA and PHA heads to provide all facilities.
According to the notification, staff machinery should be provided for the security and facilities of the participants.
It should be noted that Jamaat-e-Islami’s sit-in at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi is continuing for the third day against inflation and expensive electricity in the country.
Yesterday, Jamaat-e-Islami formed a committee headed by Liaquat Baloch to negotiate with the federal government. The first round of talks is likely to take place today.
