Since the October 10 peace agreement, Israeli forces have carried out dozens of attacks, killing 94 more Palestinians
Tel Aviv:
Israeli jets have launched airstrikes on Gaza after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered them, killing 5 Palestinians.
Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency spokesman Mohammed Bassil said that Israel has launched airstrikes on Gaza, while Israel has not responded to the attack.
He said that the occupying force has carried out at least three attacks on Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement.
The Civil Defense Agency said that five people have been martyred and several others injured in Israeli bombardment in Gaza.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu brazenly accused Hamas of violating the peace agreement and ordered his forces to launch an immediate and major attack on Gaza.
According to the international news agency, the statement was issued by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, in which Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made baseless accusations against Hamas of violating the agreement and attacking Israeli soldiers, while Israeli forces have martyred dozens of Palestinians since the agreement. Israeli media also confirmed this statement.
A statement issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that the body provided by Hamas is not that of another Israeli in custody.
The statement said that forensic tests have shown that the remains are those of Ofer Tzarfeti, whose body was obtained by Israel in late 2023, and that these remains are not those of any of the 13 people who died in custody in Gaza.
Israel has accused Hamas of this act as a clear violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement signed two weeks ago.
On the other hand, Hamas responded by saying that it was fully committed to the agreement brokered by the United States, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, but that it would need help to recover the bodies buried in the rubble of the losses caused by the two-year war.
Gaza’s official media office said that the ceasefire was violated by the Israelis themselves. Since the October 10 peace agreement, Israeli forces have violated the agreement 125 times, in which 94 Palestinian civilians have been martyred.
In this regard, Arab media said that despite the ceasefire, the sounds of explosions and drones continue to be heard throughout Gaza. At least 68,527 people have been killed and 170,395 injured in Israel’s war on Gaza, which began in October 2023.
1,139 people were killed and about 200 people were taken hostage in Hamas’ attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023.
