There is no truth in the reports that the Us had given advance notice of the attack.
DOHA:
Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, while describing the recent Israeli attack in the strongest terms, has said that his country will not be satisfied with mere condemnation but reserves the right to respond forcefully.
Addressing a press conference in Doha, the Qatari Prime Minister said that the Israeli attack was not only illegal and provocative but also aimed at sabotaging the Gaza ceasefire efforts.
He said that the timing of the incident coincided with a meeting in which the Hamas negotiating team was considering American proposals.
Sheikh Mohammed announced that Qatar is preparing legal action against Israel and a legal team has been formed to hold it accountable at the international level. He said that we are standing at a decisive juncture. Now is not just the time for statements but for practical actions.
The Prime Minister alleged that the Israeli Prime Minister is deliberately pushing the region towards chaos, while Israeli aggression is endangering peace in the entire Middle East.
Speaking about the American role, he clarified that there is no truth in the reports that the US had given advance notice of the attack, because 10 minutes after the attack, American officials contacted, but Qatar failed to stop it because the drone did not appear on the radar.
He also rejected the impression that Qatar has suspended its role as mediator in the Gaza ceasefire. He said that our mediation efforts are ongoing and no one can divert us from this path.
