GAZA: Israel has released 90 Palestinian prisoners from prisons under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
According to foreign media reports, Hamas handed over three Israeli prisoners to the Red Cross yesterday under the ceasefire agreement.
In return, Israel released a list of Palestinian prisoners released from various prisons, including the release of prisoners from Ofer prison.
Among those released are 69 women and 21 children.
The 90 Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli prisons were warmly welcomed in the West Bank city of Beituniya.
The prisoners were transported to the West Bank by two buses. According to the Palestinian Health Department, despite the release, there are still a large number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
It should be noted that during the 15-month-long critical situation during the Israeli war in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Health Department, 47,899 Palestinians have been killed and more than 110,000 injured, while thousands of people are missing.
