There is a contingent of law enforcement officers at Jinnah Avenue, D Chowk and other important places in Islamabad. The situation in D Chowk, Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area is under the control of security forces and administration.
Police and Rangers are still present in Jinnah Avenue, China Chowk, D Chowk. At the same time, patrolling was also carried out in the red zone by the troops of Pakistan Army. Earlier, the police managed to evict the protestors coming to Islamabad from Jinnah Avenue and surrounding areas, while hundreds of protesters were also arrested from Jinnah Avenue, D Chowk, China Chowk.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad Police conducted a flag march at Jinnah Avenue, D Chowk and Abpara, while all entrances to the red zone except Margalla Road were closed till late night. Similarly, there are containers at Sarina Chowk, Nadera Chowk, D Chowk.
On the other hand, containers have been removed from Zero Point, Faizabad, Expressway and traffic has been restored.
It should be noted that the summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in Islamabad, in the context of which foreign delegations are continuing to arrive in Pakistan, in this context the security of the federal capital is being made foolproof.
