The Islamabad High Court has issued a written decision invalidating the Chief Commissioner’s order to withdraw the permit for the PTI rally.
This decision has been pronounced by the High Court after hearings on the petition of Tehreek-e-Insaaf. Chief Justice Aamir Farooq issued a five-page written decision in which the court quashed the July 5 order of the Chief Commissioner to withdraw the NOC.
The decision said that the application for NOC of PTI Jalsa will be considered pending before Islamabad administration, Islamabad administration should decide on the application according to law and with reasons, as per the order of 5th July in Muharram. The NOC was withdrawn due to the end order situation, the Chief Commissioner did not inform any PTI representative before withdrawing the NOC.
It should be noted that PTI had filed an application in the court against the order of the Chief Commissioner.
