Islamabad: A modern digital system has been launched in Islamabad district courts for the convenience of citizens. Which was inaugurated by Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq.
Islamabad High Court IT Department Incharge Umar Rasheed Dar developed a digital system, using which the status of every date from filing of cases to judgment will be available online. The modern digital system will integrate Islamabad High Court, District Judiciary, Bar and NADRA.
The system will share case information with Cylin through messages and email. Under the digital system, e-notices can be sent through WhatsApp and email. Kiosks will be installed in District Courts for online case information.
The unique aspect of the system is that Islamabad Judiciary has a centralized data center, centralized data app and centralized database. One Window Information Desk, certified copy management system will also be launched. Lawyers and their license status will also be available on the online system.
Modern digital system will be helpful for more transparency and efficiency in judiciary. The digital system will also link with police, prosecution and prison authorities.
