Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was called on by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zedong, at the Prime Minister’s House.
Matters related to economic and security cooperation between the two countries were discussed in the meeting.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Chinese Ambassador on the Chinese New Year and expressed his best wishes to the Chinese leadership as well as the brotherly people of China, including all Chinese citizens living in Pakistan, on the occasion of the New Year.
He expressed the hope that this New Year will further strengthen the friendly relations between Pakistan and China and bring prosperity to the people of both countries.
The Chinese Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan for expressing their best wishes to the Chinese government and its people on this auspicious occasion.
