Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef in Riyadh, in which the interior ministers of both countries discussed security cooperation.
The Pak-Saudi interior ministers met at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior in Riyadh.
Prince Abdulaziz and Mohsin Naqvi discussed measures to combat drug trafficking and other matters of mutual interest, while discussions were also held on increasing cooperation in the field of drug control.
The Saudi Interior Minister welcomed his Pakistani counterpart Mohsin Naqvi and other members of the delegation.
Mohsin Naqvi said that every Pakistani has a relationship of religious devotion and respect with Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in every difficulty. We wish the best for the visionary leadership and people of Saudi Arabia, and we sincerely thank them for their endless support.
Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Nasser Al-Dawood, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Khalid Al-Batal, Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bassamy, Director General of Drug Control Major General Muhammad Al-Qarni were also present at the meeting.
The Pakistani delegation, including Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq, included Director General Passport and Immigration Mustafa Jamal Qazi and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Rifat Mukhtar Raja.
