The interim government of Bangladesh has rejected the claim of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s deportation and has offered her to return to the country.
According to foreign media, Brigadier General (retired) Mohammad Sakhawat Hussain, the head of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh, has said that the perception of Sheikh Hasina Wajid being forced to leave the country is baseless.

General Sakhawat Hussain further said that Hasina Wajid left the country of her own free will and there was no coercion on her but invites her to come back. They come and reorganize the party with new faces. Do not create any disturbance in the country.
He said that he does not want ban on any political party including Jamaat-e-Islami.
