Indian television’s popular drama CID is all set to make a comeback, Sony Entertainment’s social media account released a short clip giving fans the good news that CID is coming back with a new season.
Seeing Shivaji Sattam in the role of ACP Pradyuman, the fans are in a state of joy. It will also see the return of Daya Shetty (Diya) and Aditya Srivastava (Abhijeet).
The teaser shows Pradyoman in distress at an explosion site, and also features the show’s famous soundtrack, announcing the comeback.
Fans expressed their feelings on social media, saying “CID’s return brings back childhood memories” and “It’s my favorite show, back.”
However, the role of Fredericks will be missed by fans as Dinesh Phadnis, who played the role, passed away in December last year.
