New Zealand cricket team captain Mitchell Santner has called the Indian spinners a challenge and said that 250 runs on Dubai wicket can be a winning score.
While holding a press conference before the final in Dubai, Mitchell Santner said that playing against India is a big challenge, he is well aware of the current conditions.
He said that we have played one match here, we are a little familiar with the conditions, some of our players are new, they are playing the final of an International Cricket Council (ICC) tournament for the first time.
Mitchell Santner said that the Dubai wicket will be slow, we will try to play better, playing Varun Chakravarthy and other Indian spinners will be quite challenging.
He said that New Zealand’s batters have the ability to play spinners better, 250 runs on Dubai wicket can also be a winning score, nothing can be said about the pitch of the final.
The Kiwi captain also said that a decision on New Zealand pacer Matt Henry will be made before tomorrow’s match.
