He achieved this feat by scoring 151 runs off 67 balls against Meghalaya in Rajkot in the opening match of the Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024-25 being played in the Indian city of Hyderabad.
Tilak Verma had earlier scored consecutive centuries in 2 T20 matches against South Africa, scoring 107 not out in Centurion and more than 150 in Johannesburg.
He became the first batsman in the world to score three consecutive centuries in T20 cricket.
