Karachi: Indian team’s opening batsman Abhishek Sharma holds several records, including hitting the most sixes in an innings in the T20 format.
He won various awards in the last T20 match played against England.
Abhishek Sharma broke Rohit Sharma’s record of 10 sixes by hitting the most sixes in an innings by hitting 13 sixes. This is the record for hitting the most sixes by any Indian batsman.
Similarly, Abhishek Sharma also holds the record for scoring the highest score for India by playing an innings of 135 runs.
Earlier, Shubman Gill had played an innings of 126 runs against New Zealand in Ahmedabad in which he hit 7 sixes.
Bheesh Sharma also refreshed the memory of former Pakistani all-rounder and captain Shahid Afridi by scoring the fastest century in 37 balls.
It should be noted that in this match, India achieved its second biggest victory by defeating England by 150 runs. The English team had returned to the pavilion for just 97 runs while chasing a target of 278 runs.
