Indian actress Preity Zinta has appealed to the Indian government to enact a law to castrate those involved in sex crimes.
This demand comes after Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s efforts for a similar law in her country.
Preity Zinta said in her statement on microblogging platform X, “This is a great initiative. I hope the Indian government will also take such a step sometime.”
She also asked her fans, “Isn’t this a good time to be intolerant of such crimes?” The Italian government has already formed a committee in this regard, while Preity has expressed hope for the implementation of the same law in India as well.
