The police of the Indian state of Telangana have arrested YouTuber and actor Prasad Behra in Hyderabad (Deccan).
According to Indian media, Prasad Behra had been accused of sexual harassment by his co-star for several months and had filed a complaint with the police.
Police said that the victim has alleged that Prasad Behra had been sexually harassing her for the past few months. During the shoot, his behavior was indecent and he touched the actress in an inappropriate manner.
She also alleged that when she was harassed on another occasion, she tried to stop Prasad, but he continued to misbehave. She said that recently, on December 11, while returning home from a shoot, Prasad attacked her, due to which she had to file a case.
On the actress’s complaint, the police took Prasad into custody on Wednesday and produced him in court, where he has been sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
It may be recalled that the victim actress and Prasad were working together in a web series being made for a YouTube channel of Behra.
