Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that CPEC is an important pillar of bilateral relations, in the second phase of CPEC, Pak-China friendship will be strengthened, while all the national parties are on the same page on CPEC.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar while addressing the Pakistan-China Consultative Mechanism meeting said that the Chinese delegation is welcome. The visit of the Chinese minister is a reason for increasing mutual trust. It is part of the links.
He said that there is a strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, in the second phase of CPEC, Pak-China friendship will be strengthened, through CPEC, investments were made in various sectors in Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar said that CPEC is a new vision of Pakistan-China cooperation, social and sustainable development and regional cooperation have been promoted through CPEC, investments have been made in various sectors including energy in Pakistan, through CPEC Pakistan Opportunities for employment and development are created.
He further said that the Prime Minister’s visit to China was very successful, various agreements were signed during his visit to China, he had a useful meeting with Minister Liu during his visit to China, Pakistan wants to promote China-Pakistan relations.
Addressing the meeting, Chinese Minister Liujian Chau said that Pakistan and China are on new paths of development, the development of Pakistan and China will be beneficial for both countries, Chinese leadership values the friendship between the two countries.
The Chinese minister said that the security situation has to be improved for investment, businessmen will invest in Pakistan with better security, internal stability is necessary for development.
