QUETTA: 5 people working on the maintenance of a dam were killed in Promom area of Panjgur district of Balochistan.
According to the spokesman of the Balochistan government, two people were injured in the firing and their condition is out of danger. The bodies and the injured have been shifted to a local hospital.
District administrative officers are present at the spot and the incident is being investigated.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has condemned the firing incident and said that the incident of terrorism is condemnable and unforgivable, terrorists are followers of anti-national elements against development and peace.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that peace and development in Balochistan is catching the eye of the enemy, but terrorists can never succeed in their nefarious purposes, terrorists will not be spared, unjust blood must be accounted for.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan said that the terrorists are cowards, who targeted innocent people in the dark of night, the involved terrorists will be brought to a logical end.
