Islamabad: The anti-terrorism court has issued a show-cause notice to the jail authorities for not making Imran Khan appear on the video link.
In the case registered against the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding the Azadi March, the Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad issued a show-cause notice to the jail authorities for not appearing on the video link of the founder of PTI.
Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case. Tanveer Hussain Ali Nawaz Awan’s request for exemption from attendance was filed. Khurram Shehzad Nawaz, Aamir Mehmood Kayani Jamshed Mughal appeared before the court. The court inquired where Asad Omar has come. The lawyer said that Asad Umar has been discharged from this case.
The court remarked that Tanveer Hussain’s medical certificate should be attached along with the application. There has been a report regarding the attendance of founder PTI. The same report came last day and a show cause notice was issued. I am also issuing the notice today. I will write online, if not, present it in personal capacity. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 28.
