Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Umar Ayub has said that Imran Khan will file a case for May 9 CCTV footage.
Talking to the media on the occasion of his appearance in the Anti-Terrorism Court, Lahore, PTI leader and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Umar Ayub said that the army, FC and intelligence agencies are the tools and employees of the state. Army and institutions should stay within their limits.
He said that politicians should do politics according to the constitution. The Army has G3 rifles, cannons, and tanks, and the Air Force has aircraft and GF-17s. The Navy has submarines and brigades and ships.
According to Article 7 of the Constitution, the State is Majlis Shuri. The State is the National Assembly and the Provincial Assembly and the tax-imposing bodies.
Umar Ayub further said that the message of founder PTI is that Muslim League-N and PPP are creating a gap between the people and the army. The Election Commission should be independent.
