Islamabad: Founding Chairman PTI, Sheikh Rashid and others have been acquitted in the case of violation of Section 144.
The District Sessions Court, Islamabad, heard a case registered under Section 144, violation of the Amplifier Act and other provisions, in which former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed appeared before Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood.
Later, the court, while pronouncing the verdict on the acquittal petition, acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan, Asad Qaiser, Saifullah Niazi, Sheikh Rashid, Sadaqat Abbasi, Faisal Javed and Ali Nawaz from the case.
It should be noted that a case was registered against the accused at Aabpara Police Station on August 20, 2022.
