The Islamabad High Court has disposed of the contempt of court petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan for not allowing him to meet Bushra Bibi.
In the Islamabad High Court, Acting Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar heard the contempt of court petition filed by PTI founder Imran Khan for not allowing him to meet his wife Bushra Bibi.
On the court order, Adiala Jail Superintendent Ghafoor Anjum appeared, while lawyer Faisal Farid Chaudhry was present on behalf of the PTI founder, while State Counsel Malik Abdul Rehman was also present in the court.
The court asked the Adiala Jail Superintendent whether the court had given an order and it was being implemented or not.
The Superintendent of Adiala Jail said that the meeting continues, but there is nothing like this in the jail rules regarding the meeting of husband and wife. We arrange meetings between the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi in the jail every Wednesday.
The Chief Justice said that Faisal Sahib is treating you specially. Lawyer Faisal Farid Chaudhry said that there is a request that the Superintendent of Adiala Jail should order the implementation of the court order. The Acting Chief Justice said that they have the courage not to implement the court orders.
The court disposed of the request to arrange a meeting between the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi.
