Hamas’ response to the peace plan;
Any military action in the current situation poses a serious threat to human lives, Trump’s video statement
After the positive response from the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas to the 20-point peace plan, US President Trump has called on Israel to stop the attacks on Gaza.
According to international news agencies, President Trump said in his statement that Hamas’s latest stance shows that it is ready for lasting peace, so Israel should immediately stop bombing Gaza so that the safe release of the hostages can be possible.
He said that any military action in the current situation poses a serious threat to human lives.
Trump said that discussions are currently underway on the details of the negotiations, however, this matter is not limited to Gaza but is related to the establishment of long-term peace in the entire Middle East.
In a video message, the US President thanked Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and other countries, saying that all countries are united for an end to the war and peace in the Middle East, and we are very close to achieving peace. It should be noted that Hamas, while largely accepting President Trump’s peace plan, has said that it is ready to release all Israeli prisoners in exchange for the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces. According to the Hamas statement, the organization is also willing to hand over the administration of Gaza to an independent and impartial institution consisting of Palestinian technocrats, which will be formed on the basis of national consensus and Arab and Islamic support.
