The ICC has announced the Team of the Year 2024. Three Pakistani players are also part of the team.
Three Pakistani players have managed to make it to the ICC Team of the Year, including Saim Ayub, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.
Four Sri Lankan players have been included in the ICC Team of the Year, with Cherith Asalanka as the captain, while Kusal Mendis is the wicketkeeper, Sri Lankan batsman Patham Nissanka in the middle order and spinner Winandu Hasringa are also part of the team.
Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Azmat Omarzai, and AM Ghazanfar are also part of the ICC Team of the Year, while players from many teams including Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Bangladesh have failed to make it.
