Florida: Hurricane Milton wreaked havoc in the US state of Florida. 10 people died in accidents due to the storm.
According to US media, Hurricane Milton cut off power to 3 million customers in Florida. During the storm, several trees were uprooted and power poles were destroyed due to winds of 205 kmph.
A retirement home in St. Lucie County was destroyed by the storm, killing 10 people. According to the National Weather Service, more than 100 homes were destroyed by 120 tornadoes during Hurricane Milton.
Roads turned into ponds in various areas and vehicles were washed away in water channels. After wreaking havoc in Florida, the storm has now moved towards the east coast. Relief operations are underway in the storm-hit areas.
